The Valley Times is our school newspaper, written by students, for students. It’s a place to share what’s happening around school, write about things you actually care about, interview people, review music, films or books, cover school events, share opinions, or simply write about something you learnt.
This year, we want to make the newspaper bigger, more diverse and more representative of the whole school, meaning we’re looking for new writers, photographers, or researchers… This counts as Service as Action or CAS, fulfilling multiple areas of the latter, depending on what you write about.
If you’re interested in joining the team, or even if you just have an idea for an article, reply to this email or come and speak to me (D08 if you’re in Horizon).
If you were in Valley Times last year and wish to continue, reply to this email too please.
