The CAS award is bestowed upon a graduating student who has distinguished himself / herself as a role-model and a leader in CAS at OIS.
Eligibility is based on nomination and selection by the CAS Advisor Team based on these criteria:
The recipient models the IB Learner Attributes by being:
- A thinker
- A communicator
- A risk-taker
- Principled
- Open-minded
- Caring
- Balanced
- Reflective
And has:
- demonstrated a clear understanding of the philosophy and spirit of the CAS program.
- maintained a strong record of commitment and personal growth through his / her CAS projects.
- developed as a confident and supportive leader in one or more CAS projects.
