We currently have Year 10 and Year 11 students studying Portuguese and Spanish Language Acquisition at the Emerging level.
Having older students working alongside them would be extremely beneficial. Your support could include helping with basic vocabulary, speaking practice, reading, simple written tasks, and building confidence in using the language.
This could be a very positive CAS opportunity that allows you to contribute directly to the learning of younger students while developing your own communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
We would be looking for students who feel confident in either Portuguese or Spanish and who would be willing to support learners in both Year 10 and Year 11 at the Emerging level.
